Malunga Springbok Radio

Springbok Radio was South Africa’s first commercial radio station, airing nationally from 1950 until its demise in 1985. Today, its history is carried on by the Springbok Radio Revisited internet archive, which transmits restored historic programming. It became a tremendously popular and influential part of South African culture, particularly between the 1950s and the 1980s.
